Are your Mage-OS search modules ready for production?

The honest answer is that they have explicit qualification limits. As of September 10, 2026, OpenSearch Hybrid is an engineering pilot and Relevance Workbench is experimental. A public repository isn't the same as acceptance in your store.

Hybrid reranks native search's top 100 candidates and preserves native counts, facets, and fallback behavior. It stays disabled until store-specific validation and activation. The Workbench compares changes to the native lexical candidate stage, not the final semantic ranking. Optional LLM judgments are disabled by default. Read the current Hybrid and Workbench documentation for environment caveats and the evidence needed before use.
