I test the work I actually need done. Broad benchmarks are useful context, but they don't settle whether a model will follow a demanding set of instructions, use the tools correctly, or produce a result I can verify. Before a consequential switch, I want representative tasks under comparable conditions.
The August 2026 video above is one account of what I learned from complex constraints. It isn't a permanent ranking. I keep memory, instructions, and the working environment portable so I can choose the model for the job. If the current choice works, a new release is a reason to test, not automatically a reason to restart.
