What happens to Mage-OS if Adobe stops releasing Magento Open Source?

That's one of the reasons community stewardship matters. Mage-OS gives the community a path to keep maintaining and advancing the platform. In the video, I discuss that independence and what it means for a merchant choosing a long-term home for their store.

This is a hypothetical about continuity, not a claim that Adobe has stopped releasing Magento Open Source. Independence also means people have to do the maintenance, testing, documentation, and support. Our Mage-OS Lab contributions are one concrete way Rocket Web participates. The choice for a particular store still depends on its requirements and who can operate it.
